When Savannah & Nate said they wanted to do an adventurous engagement photoshoot up on the North Shore, we immediately started planning & brainstorming the perfect spots.

Angela & Nick opted for a little hiking adventure in northern Wisconsin for their engagement photos.

It was literally the PERFECT fall weather, tree colors were at peak & the sun was the perfect golden color for what seemed like the entire session!

Being big fans of the rugged and woodsy Lake Superior shoreline, hiking around Silver Bay, MN was the obvious choice for their engagement photos!

Feeling a tad bit defeated upon arrival to Glacier National Park in Montana hearing the iconic "Going to the Sun Road" was closed for the season still due to snow at higher elevations (we had no idea it was still very early in the year for them... think spring conditions in the middle of June!!)

Glacier National Park in Montana is the perfect place for your engagement photo adventure. It is literally breathtaking, whether you are taking in the 360 views from the "going to the sun road," or hitting the trails to one of the many glacial lakes, it is a mountain lovers' must see!

Tasha & Derek wandered the wooded bluffs of the St. Croix River for their engagement photos this last fall.

This hidden gem at the end of Gooseberry Falls park is one of my favorite spots to shoot in Two Harbors.

Jenna & Kevin loved on each other on the pier where he proposed to her in White Bear Lake, Minnesota!

Zack & Jessica got engaged on the cliffy beaches of Northern Minnesota's Lake Superior shoreline. She had no idea Zack had called me the day before their adventurous couple shoot to ask me if he could surprise her with a proposal near sunset on the lake!!!

A random sun filled flash rainstorm fueled the romantic vibes between Flavia & Clayton during their engagement session at Frontenac State Park in Frontenac, Minnesota!

Sheldon surprised Alisa when he got down on one knee & proposed to her during their couple shoot in Eagan, MN!

This is one of the cutest proposal stories ever…! Knowing all along that this was the guy she was going to spend the rest of her life with, for a couple of years, she got her nails done in preparation for every big trip they took together, in the event he popped the question.
