Grand Teton National Park Wedding at Schwabacher Landing

Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming…. an unbelievably beautiful place to have a wedding. While thinking of their perfect wedding day, Cambria and Alex realized that eloping in a National Park would be a more unique and a totally “us” experience. Being avid hikers, campers and National Park explorers The Tetons was a perfect fit for their wedding day. They chose to invite their closest people to share in their vow ceremony at Schwabacher Landing with the craggy peaks of the Teton Range as their backdrop and have a big ol’ party with everyone else to celebrate another day back home. It’s really the best of both worlds, the wild and intimate ceremony adventure with the big party back home!

Cambria + Alex’s Grand Teton National Park Wedding Adventure

Getting Ready

The wedding day adventure started with Cambria getting into her dress and final details along a path near the ceremony site, it was NEXT LEVEL amazing- imagine being fully immersed in nature, feeling the sun on your face, smelling the crisp mountain air with a hint of evergreen as you slide into your dress, lace up your boots and prepare yourself to marry your person! Meanwhile, Alex was doing his final preparations and hangin with his guys at the ceremony spot overlooking those mountains.

Their Wedding Ceremony at Schwabacher Landing

The ceremony was nothing short of EPIC, the sun was shining, the mountains were showing off, the little river was doing its thing and everyone was present, supportive, excited and emotional watching these two promise to forever together. The ceremony concluded with a champagne toast to the newlyweds and a new layer of sunscreen -cus that mountain sun is NO JOKE!

The Post Wedding Ceremony Hike in The Tetons

Then began the adventuring part of the day! The couple and their crew geared up and trekked out for a little hiking adventure to celebrate nature style! Per the park rules, we couldn’t do any exploring in the backcountry (bummer) but we made the best of it and hiked along the river where the views of the mountains kept getting better and better. These two are truly badass in all the ways... Not only did they go on a wicked  pre-wedding hike where they got super sunburnt and put on a ton of miles; but they showed up on their wedding day ready to do it all again (but this time with more sun protection!)

From there we headed off to do a few  photos in front of the iconic Grand Teton National Park Entrance sign - cus is it even a National Park wedding if ya don’t do “the entrance sign photo”!?! Then we headed off to their balcony reception dinner at the Stillwest Brewery in Jackson Hole, WY - which is an INCREDIBLE venue, and their food is so dang good!

I cannot imagine a more epic way to start your forever together.
