Kristin + Paul knew they wanted something intimate, where they could focus on each other and their new beginning. Surrounded and supported by their closest family in one of their favorite places in Minnesota. Every part of their day was intentional; from the location of the ceremony overlooking Lake Superior, to the local vendors all the way down to their Red Wing boots - every detail was inspired by their love for Minnesota!

After K+P’s first look beachfront of the Lutsen Resort, we hopped in our cars and headed to a spot they picked out the day before to explore. These two were all smiles as they headed out on their wedding day adventure. Gripped with anticipation as we hiked down the path towards the pebble beach, we were completely taken back by the view! This has to be the best beach in Lutsen, MN the absolute perfect place to celebrate their union!

After their little hike in the woods back to the cars we were off on the biggest adventure of the day- meeting their family and exchanging vows. They honestly couldn’t have picked a better spot to get married, every non-pine tree was glowing with fall color, it was not overtaken by tourists, plenty of room to spread out, plus the view of the Lake being flanked by epic rock formations made the backdrop unparalleled.

PS- does anyone else feel a little PNW vibe coming from this place, cus I was there and still cannot believe this place lives in the Midwest!

Sunset Celebration Back at the Lutsen Resort’s Beach

Back at the resort, they had brought a canoe to float around in before dinner - and YES, I as loosing my damn mind it was such an incredible experience to be apart of! These two took their wedding day experience to the next-freaking-level by celebrating their way and embracing their hobbies, it was amazing!

The sun even popped out through those moody af clouds for a few minutes bringing it to a whole new level. They ended the evening watching the sunset on the beach cooking some mallows over the fire before heading back to their cabin for some take out and drinks. What an unbelievably adventure packed day filled to the brim with intention, love, intimacy and so much laughter!

Their day is not one I will soon forget and am so thankful to have been invited to document such a meaningful day!
