BRITTANY + RYAN’S BAYFIELD ENGAGEMENT

Locations: Beach in Cornucopia, Bark Point in Herbster and Washburn

Bayfield, WI Engagement

Where the Northwoods meets the South Shore of Lake Superior. Bayfield County is the home of outdoor adventures on the lake and in the dense forests.

Brittany and Ryan got engaged last October on this secluded beach in Bark Point, WI on Bark Bay. A beach littered with lake superior stones and on the edge of wooded land, perfect for beach picnics and cool, summer evening cuddles. It was a no brainer to go back to that same beach for their engagement photos! They also opted for an intimate set up on Cornucopia beach styled by Simply Gypsy Events with florals by Saffron and Grey Couture Floral. Beach blues with textures of the landscape pull in a dreamy ambiance as the sun begins to set on the shoreline.

Still cannot believe the beauty of Northern Wisconsin as a whole, the trails through park forests and large rocky gorges, that meet up to Lake Superior. Such an incredible place to explore!

From the bride: We met in 2013; I had returned from India and was planning my next move to Denver or the West Coast when my MOH & BFF suggested I met her friend. As we’ve come to learn, she had been waiting years to introduce us but the timing hadn’t been right, until then. We haven’t stopped talking, laughing, and loving since. In our second year of dating and our third trip to Bayfield County, we decided we wanted this to be our forever home. On our fourth trip, Ryan proposed on Bark Point Beach, and we both giggled like schoolchildren for the next week. Our wedding will be next summer in Bayfield, rounding out a 21-month engagement.
