Emily + Cory’s Elopement

Location: Baraboo, Wisconsin

Eloping in Baraboo, WI

Okay so, this was literally the perfect fall day in Baraboo, Wisconsin for their elopement wedding ceremony! Emily & Cory’s parents met us at the Pewitts Nest trailhead late morning before the elopement ceremony. The excitement really started to build as we began our hike to the gorge. Cory & Emily had their first outdoor hiking adventure together here when they first started dating… seemed like the perfect place for them to have their vow ceremony. I love when couples are intentional & pick somewhere meaningful to get married!

The gorge was so much more impressive than I remember!

So there we all are, standing at the edge of the gorge, Emily & Cory holding hands, surrounded by their parents, only the soft sounds of water flowing in the background. Everyone was truly present, listening as these two beautiful souls vow to love one another, unconditionally, for the rest of their lives. It was AMAZING.

After the ceremony there were tears, laughter & some super squishy family photos before their parents headed off for some cocktails at the restaurant! We continued the adventure by hiking down to the falls for a few photos. Emily & Cory make hiking elopements look so dang good! They definitely came prepared to adventure, they both wore good hiking shoes, she had on a beautiful flowy dress with leggings so she was comfortable and could climb up the rocky cliffs, no problem. It was so dang good! After our little hiking adventure at Pewits, we headed to meet the parents again at a local bistro, The Driftless Glen Distillery, for lunch and celebratory cocktails!!

Thank you all again SO SO much for inviting us to be apart of and photograph your elopement, we had a wonderful time celebrating with you all!! <3
